Job Summary
Forensic Mechanical Consultant responsible for reviewing design and construction documents to support forensic investigations and system design, documenting site conditions, conducting field surveys, performing non-destructive/destructive testing, designing and analyzing HVAC and plumbing systems in compliance with industry standards and codes, and preparing detailed reports, construction documents, and specifications to support projects. Also supports the construction administration phase, including inspections of remedial work for compliance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, civil, construction, or architectural engineering (trade or military backgrounds also considered)
- Mechanical Professional Engineer (PE) license
- 3+ years of relevant experience in construction, forensic investigations, or HVAC/plumbing design
- Strong working knowledge of HVAC and plumbing systems, commercial construction, and forensic analysis
