Job Summary
Forensic Engineer role in Miami leading forensic investigations and expert witness testimony for construction defect, damage, and insurance claims. Responsibilities include leading and managing investigations, report preparation, expert testimony (deposition/trial), coordinating field inspections, generating comprehensive field reports, reviewing drawings and specifications, performing structural analyses and testing oversight, and providing technical guidance to project teams to ensure delivery within scope, budget, and timeline. Travel to client sites and active engagement with clients and legal teams are expected; must maintain up-to-date knowledge of codes, regulations, and standards and support business development and knowledge-sharing activities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Structural/Civil Engineering
- Professional Engineer (PE) license
- Four+ years of experience in architectural/engineering consulting
- Valid United States Driver's License
