Job Summary
Manage forensic engineering assignments from proposal through completion, overseeing scope, schedules, budgets, and multidisciplinary teams. Conduct on-site investigations for structural failures, construction defects, and catastrophic events, performing surveys, non-destructive testing, and engineering analysis to develop defensible opinions. Lead repair design efforts for damaged systems while preparing technical reports and serving as a trusted advisor to attorneys, insurers, and clients. Support litigation and expert witness development, presenting findings to stakeholders and mentoring junior engineers. Requires PE license, 8+ years structural experience, and ability to travel for site visits.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or related field
- Professional Engineer (PE) license
- Minimum 8 years of structural engineering experience
