Job Summary
Conduct advanced structural analysis using ETABS, SAP, SAFE, RAM, and RISA for steel, concrete, masonry, and timber structures in the New York City Metro area. Design and analyze common structural systems including braced and moment frames, shear walls, and post-tensioned concrete while preparing calculations, detailing, and engineering reports. Support the construction administration phase and ensure compliance with building code requirements and seismic design, including testifying as an expert witness in dispute resolution proceedings as necessary.
Required Qualifications
- PE license
- In-depth knowledge of structural engineering analysis, building code requirements, and seismic design
- Experience in the preparation of structural calculations, structural detailing, and preparing engineering reports
