Job Summary
Lead a crew to construct, maintain, and repair underground distribution systems, including energized and de-energized lines, while prioritizing safety. Conduct pre-job and tailgate safety briefings, train lower classification employees, and oversee project quality and deadlines. Operate excavation equipment and perform live-line work using approved PPE. Be available for outages, storms, and emergencies on an on-call rotation, including weekend and overtime work. Travel to various job sites, including out-of-state locations, and work in extreme weather conditions.
Required Qualifications
- Five (5) years of recent underground line experience
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Willing to travel long distances on short notice
- Lift, carry, push, or pull materials and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds
- Willing to work outside of normal business hours, including weekends, holidays, emergency callouts, and overtime
