Job Summary
Supervise and coordinate a team of skilled workers in specialized trades, ensuring tasks are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety regulations. Review blueprints and project plans to assign and delegate tasks based on skill levels, while monitoring progress and providing updates to project managers. Conduct regular safety meetings, enforce protocols, and inspect completed work to maintain quality standards and a clean job site. Provide training and mentorship to crew members, resolve on-site conflicts quickly, and ensure materials and equipment are properly maintained. Collaborate with other trades to ensure smooth project flow and timely completion.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 5+ years of experience in the specialty trade industry
- at least 2 years in a supervisory role
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations
- Strong knowledge of project management
- Strong knowledge of industry best practices
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Ability to read and interpret drawings
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents
- Excellent leadership skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Physical stamina to work on job sites
- Ability to perform manual labor when required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Valid driver's license

Desired Qualifications
