Job Summary
Supervise and coordinate daily activities of construction crews, including carpenters and laborers, by assigning tasks, monitoring productivity, and ensuring work meets project plans and specifications. Enforce job site safety policies, inspect work for quality and compliance, and train crew members to improve performance. Communicate progress, material needs, and workforce requirements to management while coordinating with subcontractors and vendors to maintain schedules. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site in a dynamic work environment with a 40+ hour week and moderate safety risk.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of construction trade experience
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform physical labor for extended periods
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
Desired Qualifications
- Previous supervisory or crew leadership experience
- Experience working as a Carpenter and/or Laborer, with demonstrated ability to lead and supervise field crews
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, tools, materials, and safety practices
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
- OSHA safety training or certification
- Experience leading commercial and/or residential construction projects
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
