Job Summary
Lead, manage, and coordinate the construction and installation of petroleum equipment as Petroleum Construction Foreman. Coordinate job duties, delegate tasks to construction workers and sub-contractors, and supervise crew while ensuring safe work practices and compliance with codes, project specifications, and manufacturer requirements. Perform installation of specialty fiberglass or flexible piping systems and fueling dispensers, install new sub-base aggregate, form concrete pads/islands/piers, and oversee demolition/removal of concrete/asphalt. Monitor schedules, track materials and equipment, document daily activities, and maintain positive relationships with crew, vendors, and sub-contractors to ensure timely work flow. Must operate heavy equipment (e.g., Skid-Steer Loaders, Excavators, Backhoes), travel to various job sites (may require overnight travel), and adhere to 7AM–5PM schedules with overtime as needed. Requires high school diploma or equivalent, state AST/UST certifications, valid Driver’s License, ability to pass DOT physical, and strong communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years’ experience with petroleum construction
- Field Construction experience running a crew and working with sub-contractors
- Equipment operation experience with operating Skid-Steer Loaders, Excavators, and Backhoes
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
- Requires state specific AST/UST DEP certifications
- Strong communication skills
- Overtime possible; occasional out of town jobs
- Must successfully complete pre-employment testing to include but not limited to: skills testing and pre-employment background checks as well as drug testing
- Must possess a valid Driver’s License
- Must be able to pass a DOT physical
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Ability to work outside during all types of weather
