Job Summary
Lead a crew of 4–8 craftspeople building highway, railroad, marine, and energy infrastructure structures while optimizing schedules to meet project deadlines. Ensure seamless progress on construction projects by training and mentoring new workers, resolving work-related challenges, and championing safety through compliance with state and federal regulations. Collaborate with Superintendents for guidance while maintaining a secure work environment with proper PPE and regular safety trainings. Work Monday through Friday from 6:30 am to 6 pm, with occasional weekend rotation, year-round on projects throughout the Southeast.
Required Qualifications
- You know your way around bridge construction projects thanks to previous experience
- You have experience leading teams as a Foreman, even if it's not on bridge construction projects
- You've been putting in the time to master pile driving, crane operations, welding, carpentry, concrete, pile driving, and related areas
- You're the go-to problem solver in your circle of friends
- You're in your sweet spot when you're optimizing and providing solutions
- You want to be mentored by experienced industry professionals who will share their knowledge and develop your skills
- You will work an average of 50-60 hours per week
- You will work Monday - Friday 6:30 am - 6 pm
- It is sometimes necessary [to work] weekends
- You must have a driving record [pending approval]
- You must be able to work safely in the rain
- You must be able to work in the rain if materials are OK
- You must be able to work when it rains if work can be done SAFELY
Desired Qualifications
- Even better (but not required) if you have Experience working as a Foreman on bridge construction projects
