Job Summary
Lead successful projects requiring the setup and teardown of Pump & Power equipment, including bypass pumping, generators, power distribution, and water restoration. Motivate and coach team members while creating accurate project timelines and executing daily goals. Delegate tasks to crew members and represent Sunbelt in communicating with customers and internal resources. Maintain tools and supplies, document projects through daily notes and labor logs, and assist with shop cleanliness and deliveries when not assigned to a project. Requires Class A CDL, strong mechanical background, and ability to lift 100 pounds regularly.
Required Qualifications
- Basic Equipment knowledge and troubleshooting – pumps, generators, power distribution, a/c, heater, and shoring
- Strong Mechanical background preferably in a similar industry
- Strong leadership skills with a history of previous success
- Construction background
- Excellent time management skills
- Basic equipment operating skills – forklift, skid loader, etc.
- Must be able to perform physical labor and lift up to 100 pounds on a regular basis
- Must be able to bend
- Must be able to squat
- Must be able to crouch
- Must be able to reach
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds or more
- Must be able to work indoors
- Must be able to work outdoors
