Job Summary
Coordinate work priorities and plans while safely operating and maintaining company vehicles to ensure compliance with traffic laws and policies. Produce scheduled reports, monitor crew attendance, and allocate daily responsibilities to guarantee safety precautions and quality standards are met. Monitor project expenditures to keep budgets within limits and resolve conflicts quickly. Assist the Department Manager with scheduling, estimates, bidding, daily safety paperwork, change orders, and inventory management. Provide exceptional customer service while maintaining strict adherence to OSHA respiratory protection standards and DOT physical requirements.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid Driver's License
- Must be 18 years or older
- 3-5 years of successful experience in field management and managing projects as well as managing health and safety for mobile workforce
- Experience in bulk disposal and hazardous waste handling
- 1-year minimum supervisory experience
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage projects within budget while continually identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and profitability
- Comfortable interfacing with clients to maintain, grow, and strengthen business relationships
- Must maintain the ability drive company vehicles
- Must be able to successfully complete and maintain a valid DOT physical examination, including baseline and annual/periodic recertification, as required for the role
- Must be able to successfully complete baseline and annual/periodic audiometric testing as a condition of employment
- Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including respiratory protection, and successfully complete respirator fit testing
- Must be able to perform essential functions of the position satisfactorily
- Subject to pre-employment drug screening including that of THC
Desired Qualifications
- 2-3 years of experience in confined space entry and rescue preferred
- UST certification and UST decommissioning experience preferred
- ICC-U2 certification preferred
- Heavy equipment operator experiences preferred
- CDL with Hazmat preferred
