Job Summary
Foreman leading a short-span bridge team across Saskatchewan and Manitoba. Responsibilities include assisting project managers with estimating, creating schedules, ordering materials, and preparing sites for construction; providing leadership for internal planning meetings and coordinating with subcontractors; identifying efficient construction methods; performing general labour to support the team; coordinating site activities and maintaining on-site documentation (site instructions, contract changes, safety records, daily logs); maintaining professionalism and communication on site; maturing the services and capabilities of the operations team; and providing relief to other crews as needed. Requires ability to work on the road in Manitoba and Saskatchewan, with a Class 5 license (Class 3 or 1A beneficial) and preferred experience in carpentry and bridge projects.
Required Qualifications
- Class 5 license is required
- Heavy equipment experience is an asset
- Carpentry experience preferred
- Bridge experience preferred
