Job Summary
Ensure successful operation and maintenance of specific division projects, making daily operational decisions and managing assigned associates and equipment. Supervise and train junior staff while recommending materials and estimating costs for work projects. Obtain a Class B Commercial Driver's License with Air Brake Endorsement within six months of hire. Complete Division-specific training as directed. This role supports the Jackson County Parks and Recreation team, serving citizens through dedicated maintenance and project execution.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or its equivalent
- Five years of previous experience in an industry related position or craft
- one to two years of supervisory experience
- Must complete Division specific training as directed
- Class B Commercial Driver's License with Air Brake Endorsement
- Must obtain a Class B Commercial Driver's License with Air Brake Endorsement within six months of hire
- Must submit to/pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
