Job Summary
Lead a crew to construct and repair overhead electrical distribution systems, performing live-line work using approved gloving and hot-stick techniques and operating bucket trucks, digger derricks, tensioners and pullers. Responsible for guiding safety briefings, coaching lower classification employees in safe work procedures, overseeing project quality and deadlines, and reporting to the General Foreman. Travel to out-of-state job sites as needed and work outdoors in varying environmental conditions, with availability for outages, storms, emergencies, and on‐call rotation.
Required Qualifications
- Five (5) years of recent overhead line experience
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Proficient in basic computer operations including Microsoft Word and other Microsoft Office applications
- Willing to travel long distances on short notice
- Lift, carry, push, or pull materials and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds
- Work for extended periods at job locations, including out-of-state assignments
- Willing to work outside of normal business hours, including weekends, holidays, emergency callouts, and overtime
