Job Summary
Foreman directs on-site construction operations, ensuring safe work practices, coaching crew on heavy equipment operation, and managing daily reporting (Plan of the Day, SLAM books, hazard analyses). Responsibilities include instructing crew on installing water and sewer structures, forming and finishing concrete, ensuring tool and equipment readiness, coordinating material orders, driving a company truck, and maintaining daily reports. Travel up to three weeks away from home is possible. Starts at $42.59/hour with standard 5×10-hour workweeks and out-of-town assignments; requirements include safety training, OSHA-readiness, and a clean driving record.
Required Qualifications
- A high school diploma, GED, or trade school certificate preferred
- Must be able to work out of town, sometimes out of state, and for lengths of time as required
- Must have clean driving record
- Must pass pre-employment drug screening and random drug screening if selected
- Must be able to wear PPE and operate safety equipment
- Experience leading construction crews and coordinating field tasks
