Job Summary
Maintain company safety guidelines and practices while ensuring all safety rules are followed at all times. Plan, implement, and manage construction tasks in accordance with priorities, delegating responsibilities to the crew and sub-trades. Read drawings, plans, and blueprints to convey information to others, then develop and oversee quality standards on all sites. Provide proper guidance and learning opportunities for laborers and apprentices while reporting project status to the superintendent daily. Possess strong leadership skills to lead by example and effectively manage multiple tasks within the team environment. Requires a 3rd or 4th level Journeyman Carpenter with five years of related construction experience, the ability to travel as required, and a high school diploma or equivalent.
Required Qualifications
- Completed high school or equivalent, OR equivalent combination of education and experience
- Open minded, detail-oriented team player with the ability to manage multiple tasks and communicate effectively
- 3rd or 4th level Journeyman Carpenter
- Possess strong leadership skills with effective participation in team environment
- Has excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
- 5 years of related construction experience
- Ability to travel as required
