Job Summary
Direct the daily work of carpenters, apprentices, and laborers by delegating tasks, coordinating with subcontractors, and resolving site conflicts to maintain project schedules. Develop weekly plans, interpret blueprints for layout and framing, and enforce safety protocols through regular inspections and tool talks. Document progress via daily logs and manage inventory to prevent material delays. Coach crew members on best practices and review performance to foster skill growth. Requires a valid driver's license, 5+ years of commercial carpentry experience, and physical ability to lift 50+ lbs. Required Qualifications
- Must possess a valid driver's license and reliable, insured transportation to travel to and between work sites as required by the position
- High school diploma or GED
- 5+ years of commercial carpentry experience, with at least 1–2 years in a leadership role
- Strong understanding of rough and finish carpentry practices, metal stud framing, and blueprint reading
- Proficiency with layout, power tools, and construction equipment
- Excellent communication, coordination, and leadership skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines
- Knowledge of jobsite safety regulations and best practices
- Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in various conditions
- Reliable, organized, and solutions-focused
Desired Qualifications
- OSHA 30 Certification
- First Aid/CPR Certification
- Familiar with Outlook Software for Emails and Meetings
