Job Summary
Lead a crew on machinery-moving, rigging, and installation jobs, working hands-on with forklifts, cranes, skates, jacks, and rigging gear. Plan lifts, give direction, and ensure work is done safely by reading and following lift plans, drawings, and layouts. Load, move, set, and align machines and equipment while filling out basic job paperwork and communicating with customers as needed. Travel to different job sites in the local and regional area, including overnight stays when required. This role involves day-work with occasional overtime and weekend availability. Candidates must hold a valid driver's license, possess a clean MVR, and pass background and drug screenings. One to three years of rigging or machinery installation experience is required, along with two or more years leading a crew.
Required Qualifications
- 1–3 years rigging, machinery moving, or machinery installation experience
- 2+ years experience in leading a crew or working as a foreman in rigging, machinery moving or machinery installation
- Able to read simple drawings and lift plans
- Willing to travel, work overtime, and weekends when needed
- Requires successful background, MVR and drug screening
- Must currently hold a valid driver's license
