Job Summary
Directs construction-site operations as a Foreman, instructing crew on operating heavy equipment to meet production goals, enforcing safety procedures, reviewing operator manuals, and maintaining daily production and hours logs via HCSS Heavy Job on company-provided iPad. Leads safety briefings, coordinates material ordering, and plans ahead with 2–3 week look-ahead plans; travels to multiple job sites as needed; drives the company truck and ensures tools and PPE are ready, with responsibilities including tracking quality and ensuring compliance with project specifications.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Trade school certificate considered
- Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
- Must be able to work out of town, sometimes out of state, for extended periods
- Pre-employment drug screening required; random drug screening if selected
- Must be over 18 to operate power-driven saws and related equipment
- Clean driving record
- Must pass 30 Hour OSHA and First Aid/CPR requirements
- Must attend mandatory safety meetings
- Experience with safety practices, site coordination, and blueprints
- Possess knowledge of site safety, truck maintenance, and road safety regulations
