Job Summary
Foreman leading lean manufacturing in a precast concrete production environment. Responsibilities include driving safe, efficient, and high-quality production; leading by example on the production floor; partnering with teams, quality personnel, supervisors, and yard operations to eliminate waste and improve flow; implementing Lean principles (5S, standard work, visual management, waste elimination, root-cause problem solving, continuous improvement); identifying bottlenecks and reducing downtime; coaching and developing team members to meet performance, quality, and safety standards; reading production drawings to verify dimensions and ensure first-time quality; monitoring production metrics and addressing safety, quality, or productivity concerns; maintaining a clean, organized, and disciplined work environment. The ideal candidate has supervisory experience in manufacturing/construction-related settings, strong measurement skills, and a passion for safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated supervisory experience
- Ability to read and interpret production drawings
- Experience leading teams in construction, manufacturing, precast concrete, or similar production environment
