Foreman I role supervising a crew in Utility Line Clearance, directing line clearing and tree trimming services for major electric utility providers. Responsibilities include supervising crew members and equipment, planning and executing assigned work, ensuring proper maintenance and operation of tools and equipment (hand tools, chainsaws, chippers, aerial lifts), and functioning as part of a crew with Groundmen and Trimmer/Climbers. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent (preferred), valid driver’s license, and line-clearance certification if working near transmission lines; CDL preferred but not required; experience in electric utility tree trimming/climbing preferred.
