Job Summary
Lead HydroVac and HydroTest field operations across multiple job sites, supervise field crews, operators, and subcontractors, ensure safety and quality compliance, conduct pre-job planning and daily safety briefings, monitor progress and equipment utilization, communicate with project managers and clients, troubleshoot field issues, maintain field documentation and equipment inspections, and mentor field personnel to promote accountability and operational excellence. Must be willing to travel extensively to project sites and manage scheduling of personnel, equipment, and travel logistics.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience leading HydroVac, HydroTest, pipeline, industrial, or oilfield service operations
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage field crews in high-pressure environments
- Working knowledge of hydro excavation equipment, hydrostatic testing procedures, and field safety protocols
- Ability to read and interpret project plans, procedures, and operational requirements
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Willingness to travel extensively to project sites as needed
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
- CDL preferred but not required depending on experience
