Job Summary
Lead crews on roadway and airport construction projects across the United States. This traveling, hands-on supervisory role involves coordinating daily tasks, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time project completion, conducting daily crew huddles, and maintaining communications with project managers, office staff, and clients. Responsibilities include leading by example, performing hands-on work as needed (including sealing and concrete repair), monitoring progress and adherence to OSHA/DOT safety standards, producing daily reports and timecards, coordinating materials and subcontractors, and conducting weekly Toolbox Talks.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license (must be maintained)
- Able to obtain and maintain airport/military badge
- At least 21 years of age
- Willing to travel out of state
- Ability to pass a pre-employment physical and drug/alcohol test (random testing required)
- 2+ years of construction supervisory experience or equivalent
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
