Job Summary
Foreman overseeing underground utility installation crews on heavy civil projects, including dry utilities, with daily trenching, backfill, bore pits, vaults, and substation foundations. Responsible for coordinating with project managers, reviewing drawings/specs, assigning tasks, ensuring safety compliance, maintaining equipment, conducting inspections and quality checks, and producing daily reports. Requires strong leadership and communication to manage field staff, subcontractors, and project stakeholders, with experience in utility trenching, civil substation foundations, and safety regulations (OSHA). Solar experience is a plus; 10 years of verified heavy civil underground experience is required.
