Job Summary
Adolfson & Peterson Construction is seeking a Foreman with at least 6 years of experience in construction trades. The role involves leading a team of trades workers, ensuring safety compliance, and maintaining work quality. Candidates should possess a high school diploma and preferably a degree in a related field. Proficiency with construction management software and tools is desired.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 6+ years of directly related trades experience
- Current or ability to become current with OSHA and company safety requirements
- Demonstrated integrity and ethical standards
- Solid understanding of building plans and specifications, shop drawings, and product data
- Proven results in driving safety initiatives and compliance
- Ability to travel to project sites and availability to accept long-term out-of-town assignments
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build successful and lasting relationships
- Ability to efficiently manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously under time constraints
Desired Qualifications
- Post-secondary coursework or bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or related field
- Familiarity with construction management software such as Procore, MS Project, Excel, Sure Trak, and/or AutoCad
- Ability to obtain a forklift certification and commercial driver’s license preferred
- Proficient in using electrical and manual equipment and measurement tools
