Job Summary
Foreman leads day-to-day field maintenance of athletic fields (turf, baseball/softball, soccer goals, irrigation, field layout, fertilization and chemical spraying) and coordinates crews. Works with the Assistant Superintendent to supervise inspections, turf maintenance tasks (seeding, topdressing, aeration, fertilizing, spraying), field grooming and repairs, material tracking, and safety enforcement. Responsibilities include organizing tasks from start to finish, communicating important matters promptly, identifying improvements, and ensuring timely, safe work. Requires an Associate’s Degree or professional certification in athletics/turf care (or equivalent experience), seven years of relevant field-maintenance experience, Pesticide Applicators License (or ability to obtain within six months), and a valid Illinois driver’s license. Full-time, year-round schedule with possible overtime; competitive hourly pay and comprehensive benefits.”,
Required Qualifications
