Job Summary
Foreman Electrician to oversee electrical projects, supervise electricians and subcontractors, read and interpret blueprints and electrical diagrams, ensure NEC and OSHA compliance, maintain safety standards, manage resources and project timelines, provide updates to senior management, perform hands-on electrical work as needed, and mentor junior electricians and apprentices.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Electrician Foreman in both commercial and residential settings
- In-depth knowledge of residential, commercial, and industrial electrical systems, including design, installation, and maintenance
- Strong leadership and team management skills, capable of motivating and leading a team of electricians
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical blueprints and technical diagrams
- Familiarity with electrical codes and safety standards, including OSHA regulations
- A current electrician’s license or certification as required by state laws
- Ability to physically perform the duties of the job, including prolonged standing, bending, climbing ladders, and lifting heavy objects
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to convey complex instructions in a clear, concise manner
- Commitment to ongoing education and training in new techniques, technologies, and safety procedures in the electrical field
