Job Summary
Foreman for a one-of-a-kind, high-end residential project. Bags-on lead carpenter and right-hand to the site superintendent. Responsible for reading plans, lining-out subcontractors and crew, laying out work, quality control, site documentation, and acting as first point of contact for subs. Leads small projects, coordinates crew, and helps create daily schedules with the superintendent. Emphasizes safety, cost-conscious material usage, and clear client/architect communications. Requires 6+ years of high-end residential carpentry, ability to read drawings, construction math, and strong communication/leadership skills. Spanish-conversational ability is highly preferred. Required Qualifications
- 6+ years high-end residential carpentry experience
- ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and specifications
- advanced construction math skills
- ability to think ahead and understand long-term impact of current work
- proficiency with tools and equipment including specialty tools
- excellent communication and teamwork skills
- ability to take and give direction
- technical constructability knowledge with traditional and new materials
- reliable transportation and a clean driving record
- U.S. work authorization
- ability to communicate in Spanish at a conversational level (highly preferred)
