Job Summary
Execute framing carpentry and layout tasks while lining out subcontractors and crew. Lead daily schedule execution, coordinate material deliveries, and manage on-site documentation including as-built drawings. Serve as the first point of contact for subcontractor inquiries and act as the company representative when the superintendent is unavailable. Collaborate with teams to solve constructability issues, minimize material waste, and maintain a safe site adhering to OSHA requirements. Maintain accurate daily job logs and communicate project progress with clients, architects, and inspectors.
Required Qualifications
- 6+ years high-end residential carpentry experience
- highly competent and skilled in framing
- The ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and specifications
- understand vertical and horizontal control lines
- Advanced construction math skills
- The ability to think ahead and see the big picture
- Understand the WHY behind the work
- how what you're doing today will impact what's coming next
- Proficiency with proper use of tools and equipment
- full complement of tools including specialty tools
- Excellent communication and team-building skills
- Ability to take and give direction
- Technical constructability knowledge
- experience with both traditional and new materials
- Reliable transportation

- U.S. work authorization
