Job Summary
Lead construction crews and coordinate daily job-site activities for petroleum equipment installation, including fiberglass piping, fueling dispensers, and concrete structures. Delegate work to employees and subcontractors while actively participating in tasks like operating heavy equipment, performing compaction, and executing demolition. Monitor schedules, assign work based on skills, and verify compliance with codes and specifications. Maintain safe work practices, track materials and labor, and document daily activities. Travel to job sites as required, including occasional overnight stays.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of petroleum construction experience
- Field construction experience running a crew and working with subcontractors
- Experience operating Skid-Steer Loaders, Excavators, and Backhoes
- High school diploma or equivalent
- State-specific AST/UST DEP certifications
- Strong communication skills
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to successfully complete required pre-employment testing, including skills testing, background checks, and drug testing
- Ability to pass a DOT physical
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to work outdoors in all types of weather
- Ability to work overtime when required
- Ability to travel for occasional out-of-town assignments and overnight stays
