Job Summary
Foreman supervising a crew in utility line clearance, performing tree pruning/removal and trimming around electric utilities. Responsibilities include directing crew members and equipment, planning and executing assigned work, and maintaining tools and equipment (hand tools, chainsaws, chippers, aerial lifts). Requires CDL Class A or B and experience with groundmen and Trimmer/Climber teammates; safety and efficiency in delivering tree care and line clearance services to major electric utility providers.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Driver’s license required. Commercial driver’s license preferred but not required
- Pesticide license, if required by state law
- Herbicide license a plus
- Line clearance certification if working near utility transmission lines
- ISA Certified Tree Worker certification or willingness to obtain
- Electric utility tree trimming/climbing experience preferred
