Job Summary
Asphalt Foreman in Darwin leading onsite crews across a busy surfacing operation. You’ll coordinate daily asphalt activities, drive productivity, safety and quality, and report to the Asphalt Supervisor. Must have hands-on leadership in asphalt paving, preparation, and compaction, with a current White Card, valid Driver’s Licence, and ability to work day/night shifts including weekends. QA documentation experience (ITPs/ITRCs/daily reporting) and familiarity with government road maintenance contracts are highly regarded. The role offers above-award pay, night-weekend penalties, ongoing training, and a safety-focused team environment.
Required Qualifications
- Current White Card (essential)
- Current Driver’s Licence
- Flexibility to work day and night shifts, including weekends
- Experience with QA documentation (ITPs, ITRCs, daily reporting)
- Experience leading crews onsite
- Proven asphalt/civil construction or road maintenance experience
- Strong safety culture and communication skills
