Job Summary
US Non-Accredited Foreign Graduate role supporting CVS Health pharmacy teams in retail locations. Under the supervision of a preceptor, complete a mixed modality learning plan to develop knowledge, skills, and abilities for pharmacy practice, including safe and accurate prescription fulfillment, customer service, immunizations where permitted, counseling, inventory activities, and ongoing preparation for Pharmacist licensure. Travel to stores in the market may be required to support business needs; demonstrate empathy and genuine care to patients and colleagues, follow SOPs, and learn to engage in leadership and clinical development while working under state and regulatory guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- Foreign Graduate from a non-US accredited college or school of pharmacy
- FPGEC certification
- Pharmacist licensure in the state in which the position is based within 120 days of completion of US Intern hours
- Must possess or be in the process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
- Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe
- Regular and predictable attendance including nights and weekends
- Essential Functions including customer service, SOP adherence, and safe prescription handling
