Job Summary
Non-US Accredited Foreign Graduate role at CVS Health. Under direct supervision of a licensed Pharmacist, you will participate in a mixed learning plan to complete US internship hours that build on your pharmacist education, develop skills in patient care, regulatory compliance, and pharmacy operations, and position you to pursue pharmacist licensure. Responsibilities include customer service, workflow and inventory management, regulatory adherence, counseling under supervision, and participation in immunization preparation/delivery as allowed by state regulation. You will contribute to maintaining a safe, compliant, and patient-focused retail pharmacy environment, lead with empathy, support pharmacy staff development, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to drive healthy outcomes. You must complete required US intern hours within 18 months and obtain pharmacist licensure within the specified timelines; ongoing professional development and adherence to CVS values are emphasized.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or General Equivalency Development (GED)
- Doctorate (PharmD) or equivalent Pharmacist degree from a Non-US accredited school of pharmacy
- Active Pharmacy Intern license in state where district is located
- Pharmacist licensure in the state within 120 days of completion of US Intern hours
- Successful completion of FPGEE and TOEFL (as prerequisites for eligibility to apply into the role)
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Ability to adhere to HIPAA and CVS policies
- Willingness to obtain required licensure and meet regulatory requirements within stated timelines
