Job Summary
Non-US Accredited Foreign Graduate Pharmacist Intern program at CVS Health. Under the direct supervision of a licensed Pharmacist, you will contribute to delivering safe, effective retail pharmacy services while preparing to complete required US internship hours and pharmacist licensure. Responsibilities include customer service in-store and via drive-thru, adherence to HIPAA and regulatory requirements, pharmacy operations (prescription processing, labeling, counting, third-party rejections), inventory management, and implementing patient care programs. You will lead with patient-centered care, support the pharmacy manager in motivating staff, conduct counseling under supervision, participate in immunization activities when regulations allow, and contribute to a team culture focused on collaboration, integrity, and caring. The role emphasizes learning and development, leadership in a pharmacy setting, and achieving licensure within the defined timelines after internship hours.
Required Qualifications
- Foreign Graduate from a Non-US Accredited college or school of pharmacy
- Pharmacist licensure in the state where the position is based within 120 days of completing US Intern hours
- Active Pharmacy Intern license in the state where the district is located
- Completion of FPGEE and TOEFL as prerequisites to eligibility for the role
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Ability to lift and move objects up to 20 lbs as part of duties
- Ability to complete required training and licensure within guidelines
