Job Summary
Non-US Accredited Foreign Graduates join CVS Health as an International Pharmacy Intern under direct supervision of a licensed Pharmacist. Responsibilities include customer service in-store and drive-thru, processing prescriptions with SIG translations, regulatory compliance, HIPAA protection, inventory and workflow management, training and development of Pharmacy Support Staff, enabling immunization activities where permitted, and contributing to patient care programs. The role emphasizes leadership, collaboration with pharmacy leadership, adherence to state and federal regulations, and preparation for pharmacist licensure through an accelerated US internship program aligned with required licensure timelines and examinations.
Required Qualifications
- Doctorate (PharmD) or equivalent
- Pharmacist licensure in the state where the position is based within 120 days of completing US Intern hours
- Non-US Accredited Foreign Graduate training
- Ability to complete required US Intern hours within 18 months
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Experience with customer service in healthcare setting (preferred)
