Job Summary
Foreign Graduate from a Non-US Accredited college or school of pharmacy will join CVS Health under a supervised Non-US Accredited Foreign Graduate Training Program to fulfill required US internship hours toward Pharmacist licensure. Responsibilities include patient service, regulatory compliance, pharmacy operations, counseling under supervision, immunization preparation and/or delivery where applicable, and contributing to quality care and patient outcomes. The role emphasizes leadership within the pharmacy team, collaboration with management, and the growth of knowledge and skills to prepare for licensure processes, with a focus on customer care, confidentiality, and adherence to HIPAA and CVS policies. The program includes a mixed modality learning plan, a target to complete required licensure within specified timelines, and ongoing development of patient care programs.
Required Qualifications
- Required High School Diploma or General Equivalency Development (GED)
- Doctorate (PharmD) or equivalent Pharmacist degree from a Non-US accredited school of pharmacy
- Active Pharmacy Intern license in state where district is located
- Pharmacist licensure in the state within 120 days of completion of US Intern hours
- Successful completion of FPGEE and TOEFL (eligibility to apply into role)
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Ability to lift and exert physical effort as required (lifting up to 20 lbs occasionally)
