Job Summary
Foreign/Non-US Accredited Graduate Pharmacist Intern under supervision, performing patient-focused pharmacy duties including prescription processing, labeling, inventory control, QA, regulatory compliance (HIPAA), customer service, and support for immunization and point-of-care testing where allowed. Leads with patient-centered care, supports pharmacy management and staff development, and pursues licensure within the required timelines (state licensure within 120 days post-US intern hours; complete 18‐month internship). Demonstrates strong communication, time management, and digital literacy to deliver safe, high-quality care and contribute to CVS Health’s mission.
Required Qualifications
- Required: Doctorate (PharmD) or equivalent Pharmacist degree from a Non-US accredited school of pharmacy; active Pharmacy Intern license in the state where the district is located; Pharmacist licensure in the state within 120 days of completing US Intern hours; complete US Intern hours within 18 months; pass FPGEE and TOEFL; licensure processes within 120 days after intern hours; ability to work under supervision of a licensed Pharmacist; strong communication and presentation skills; compliance with HIPAA and CVS policy; willingness to learn and develop in regulatory and clinical duties; ability to perform pharmacy operations including prescription processing, labeling, inventory management, regulatory adherence, and customer service.
