Job Summary
US Non-Accredited Foreign Graduate (Foreign Pharmacy Graduate program) at CVS Health is to support pharmacy teams in US locations while developing skills toward Pharmacist licensure. After finishing FPGEE and TOEFL, you will complete required US internship hours within 18 months and work under a preceptor to apply didactic learning toward real-world practice, with goals to pass licensure exams within 120 days of completing internship hours. You will assist in safe and efficient pharmacy operations, fill prescriptions promptly and accurately, counsel patients when appropriate, and participate in immunization services where permissible. The role emphasizes empathy, patient care, SOP compliance, ongoing training, and travel across the market stores as needed. The position requires regular attendance including nights and weekends, ability to learn, adapt, and operate within regulatory guidelines and CVS policies, and a willingness to develop leadership and clinical skills within a supportive team environment.
Required Qualifications
- Foreign Graduate from a Non-US Accredited college or school of pharmacy prior to beginning US Non-Accredited Foreign Graduate Training Program at CVS
- FPGEC certification
- Pharmacist licensure in the state in which the position is based within 120 days of completion of US Intern hours
- Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
- Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe
- Essential Functions include regular attendance, ability to learn and follow SOPs, patient-focused communication, immunization responsibilities where permissible, and willingness to travel to stores as needed
- Preferred Qualifications: 1+ years of related work experience in pharmacy/retail/customer service, immunization certification readiness, cross-store flexibility
- Ability to become immunization certified once state regulations are met
- Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Suite
