Job Summary
Foreclosure Specialist II on-site responsible for monitoring and expediting foreclosure processes on assigned loans under FHA/VA/PMI/Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac guidelines. Partners with foreclosure attorneys to ensure timely, accurate work within investor guidelines; handles higher-volume files and escalated issues; prepares bidding instruction figures, processes sales, and updates reports for Freddie Mac DFRI, Fannie Mae Laser, and HUD SFDMS. Responsible for processing invoices within established guidelines, updating foreclosure screens, and mentoring junior staff. Participates in process-improvement opportunities and completes annual regulatory compliance training. Requires Bachelor's degree or equivalent, 1+ year Mortgage/Foreclosure/Loan experience, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, proficiency with Microsoft applications and loan servicing platforms, and solid communication skills. On-site role five days per week in Lake Zurich, IL.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 1+ years Mortgage, Foreclosure or Loan experience
- Solid PC skills: Proficient with Microsoft applications and loan servicing platforms
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Effective verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated ability to always interact in a positive and professional manner with all levels of both internal and external audiences
