Forecasting Specialist

Forecasting and planning specialist leading forecasting for a top retailer within Mattel's Sales Planning & Analytics team. Key duties include analyzing weekly POS trends, predicting item-level forecasts, creating a weekly shipping plan by item and channel, driving inventory plans, presenting findings to cross-functional teams, and coordinating with Buyers and Replenishment Managers to reach a consensus forecast. Responsibilities also include optimizing end-to-end order processes to improve in-stock performance and directing the Direct Import execution from Asia in collaboration with the Hong Kong Customer Service team. The role requires strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills, plus experience with data analysis, seasonal forecasting, and relevant forecasting tools.
