Job Summary
Forecasting Manager based in Budapest responsible for coordinating and developing the airline's revenue forecasting procedures, modelling the revenue outlook, and setting up long-term route-level forecasts. The role leads the revenue budgeting process and collaborates with Network, Data Science, and Pricing & Revenue Management teams to optimize forecasting accuracy. Key duties include coordinating forecasting procedures, modelling revenue outlook from forward bookings and sales trends, setting up long-term route forecasts using regression models with macro factors, and aligning with capacity planning and market insights. Required qualifications include 4-6+ years in forecasting/modelling, strong Excel-based modeling skills, Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, and fluency in English. Strong analytical ability and commercial acumen are emphasized, with experience in or exposure to mathematics/economics advantageous.
Required Qualifications
- 4-6+ years of overall working experience with 3+ years in forecasting and modelling
- Master in setting up and maintaining complex Excel-based models
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree
- Fluent in English (both written and spoken)

- Advanced Excel-based modeling skills
- Strong analytical and numerical abilities
- Experience with regression modelling or similar forecasting methods
- Exposure to airline, aviation, or transport sector is a plus
