Job Summary
Lead in developing and maintaining monthly forecasts for finished goods parts using order history, shipment data, customer point of sale metrics, and market intelligence. Work with sales, marketing, and product management to analyze product life cycles and demand patterns for the MATI and MIND divisions. Develop and maintain forecast accuracy and bias metrics by customer, product family, and SKU, ensuring proactive communication of targets and driving action plans for non-compliant KPIs. Schedule and moderate bi-monthly revenue calls with sales leadership while running statistical forecasts in IBP and articulating variances between historical data and customer projections. Communicate weekly and monthly POS and inventory reports to sales leadership, presenting observations on inventory levels, price points, and store counts. This role supports the Manager of Demand Planning through the S&OP process, requiring cross-functional collaboration with sourcing and product development.
Required Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree in operations management, supply chain, engineering, statistics, or a related field
- 2-5 years of supply chain planning experience in S&OP, demand, and supply planning
- Experience using and interacting with Demand Planning systems
- Experience with forecasting methodologies, techniques, and approaches (e.g., time series, causal modeling, and ML)
- Advanced MS Office skills (i.e., Excel and PowerPoint) and prior ERP system experience such as SAP
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrate ability to work collaboratively across the organization to accomplish strategic objectives
- Must be well organized, self-motivated, focused on meeting deadlines, and able to multitask within a fast-paced environment
Desired Qualifications
- CPG and E-Commerce experience a plus
- Certifications like Google Data Analytics or Six Sigma are also welcomed
