Job Summary
Greet and assist customers with product demonstrations, recommendations, and club membership programs. Replenish shelves, restock merchandise, and maintain a clean, well-organized work area per guidelines. Operate the Point of Sale register, calculate discounts, and manage pricing information while adhering to all company policies. Perform seasonal floor moves and handle merchandise with care. Work part-time shifts at a rate of $16.00 to $18.75, with benefits including retail discounts, dental, vision, and paid time off.
Required Qualifications
- High School education or equivalent experience
- Ability to calculate figures such as discounts and make change to customers
- Ability to communicate in a friendly and professional manner to our customers and other associates
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with Management, coworkers and customers
- Ability to operate computerized Point of Sale register system
- Must be able to lift objects up to 100 pounds or more (utilizing a team lift as needed)
- Must be able to move objects up to 20 pounds constantly
- Must be able to occasionally move and lift objects up to 100 pounds or more
- Must be able to occasionally ascend or descend ladders, stairs, ramps, etc.
- Must be able to occasionally work in tight and confined spaces
- Must be able to occasionally work in noisy environments
- Must be able to occasionally operate machinery and/or power tools
- Must be able to occasionally operate motor vehicles or heavy equipment
- Must be able to constantly stand and/or walk during shift
