Job Summary
Footwear Sales Associate position focused on delivering world-class customer service in a Bass Pro Shops store. Responsibilities include greeting customers, demonstrating and recommending footwear products, restocking and merchandising per guidelines, maintaining pricing/signage, promoting programs (CLUB Membership, In-Store Pick-up), keeping the sales floor organized, and providing a legendary customer experience through product knowledge and sales assistance. Part-time role with participation in seasonal merchandise moves and adherence to company policies; physical tasks include standing, lifting up to 100 pounds with team lift as needed, and operating a POS system. Required Qualifications
- High School education or equivalent
- Ability to calculate figures such as discounts and make change to customers
- Ability to communicate in a friendly and professional manner to our customers and other associates
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with Management, coworkers and customers
- Ability to operate computerized Point of Sale register system
