Job Summary
Research key trends to establish seasonal color palettes, source and organize materials, and develop styling that aligns with brand standards. Translate concepts into hand and technical sketches while producing detailed technical packages for design and development. Collaborate closely with suppliers to address market needs and support sample development across prototypes, sales, and confirmation phases. Adhere strictly to the design calendar and meet all deadlines while assisting in presentation preparations. This role reports to the Director within ALDO Product Services, focusing on wholesale, private label, and brand management partnerships for fashion footwear and accessories.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design
- 2 to 5 years' experience in design
- Excellent knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
- Excellent technical and hand sketching abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Power Point, Excel, Word)
- Keen sense of fashion, trends and pop culture
- Strong attention to details and organizational skills
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Excellent interpersonal skills and disposition
Desired Qualifications
- Some knowledge in InDesign
