Job Summary
Football Varsity Assistant Coach assists the head coach in developing student-athletes, coaches individuals in football skills, helps plan and schedule in-season practices, ensures safety of facilities, maintains season statistics, collaborates with athletic staff, enforces discipline and sportsmanlike conduct, stays current with sport rules and district policies (including WIAA guidelines), supports injury prevention and follow-up, demonstrates leadership, and performs additional duties as assigned by the athletic department. Required qualifications include First Aid, CPR, and Blood Borne Pathogen training; coaching experience preferred and sports-medicine knowledge is desirable; strong communication and leadership abilities are essential.

- Ability to read and interpret safety rules and procedure manuals

- Ability to perform duties with awareness of district requirements and policies
- Experience in a high school athletics environment (preferred)
