Job Summary
Football Head Coach at West Lincoln Middle School provides leadership and support in planning, developing and implementing the sport program; administers the sport program; fosters a positive learning climate; communicates with parents and the educational community; implements fundamental sports skills and coaching systems; cooperates with the principal and athletic director and develops relationships with coaching staff, student athletes, and community; maintains professional conduct and seeks ongoing professional development; requires completion of NFHS coaching courses and CPR (for paid coaches); CDL bus-driver license eligibility may be needed for activity bus transportation.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years old
- HS Diploma or GED
- coaching experience preferred
- All coaches (volunteer or paid) must complete NFHS coaching courses
- CPR certification required for paid coaches
- HR onboarding policies and HR screening (drug test and background check)
- current health physical and TB test
- Must be eligible and willing to obtain CDL bus driver's license for driving the Activity bus
