Job Summary
Football: Assistant Coach at a Loudoun County high school. Responsibilities include working cooperatively with the head athletic coach to operate a well-structured program, collaborating with the athletic department, attending all staff meetings during the season, carrying out duties designated by the head coach, recommending equipment and supplies for the sports program, recommending disciplinary actions for players violating rules, fostering sportsmanship and school pride among athletes, and performing other duties related to the position as requested by the principal and/or athletic director. CPR and First Aid training required or enrollment in a current course; teaching license is preferred. Season runs Fall (August–November); open vacancies include JV and Freshman Assistant Coach.
Required Qualifications
- Coaching experience or participation in the sport which you are applying for on high school or college levels
- Completion of CPR and First Aid training or enrollment in current CPR and First Aid training course
- Prefer experience as a teacher or classified employee in Loudoun County Public Schools
- Prefer a Virginia Teaching License candidate or a full-time classified employee for Loudoun County Public Schools
