Job Summary
Food Service Worker responsible for preparing and serving meals in a school cafeteria, maintaining a clean and safe kitchen, stocking lines, assisting with deliveries and inventory, and ensuring compliance with health regulations. Responsibilities include following recipes and production records, serving students and staff, and supporting the kitchen team in a fast-paced, community-focused environment; requires standing for shifts and ability to lift up to 50 pounds; full-time schedule Monday through Friday.
Required Qualifications
- Previous food service or cleaning experience preferred
- Strong work ethic and ability to work well with others
- Comfortable with repetitive tasks and following a routine
- Basic math and computer skills
- Must pass a background check and fingerprint screening
- Reliable transportation required
- Enjoys working around children and being part of a school community
- Respectful, inclusive, and professional with coworkers and customers
